Pat Buzzard and Grafton Street Three

"I don't know where all of this 'local celebrity' stuff started," Paty Buzzard of the band Grafton Street Three humbly stated at Chicora Medical Center's "Rockin' the Rose" concert series Thursday, June 30.  Buzzard, formerly of Chicora or "Frogtown, specifically" as he told the crowd, co-created and performed with nationally known band “Saving Jane” for many years before joining brothers Pat and Dave Rice.

One of the largest audiences to date was recorded when Grafton Street Three played their Irish and Folk mix of music at Chicora Medical Center. Some people came because they had known Pat Buzzard for years; others attended simply because they love Irish and Folk music. One thing was comparable across the audience, however; everyone enjoyed the show. Grafton Street Three offered traditional Irish tunes, current chart topping covers and their own original songs to keep the audience of community members and residents of Chicora Medical Center and Sugar Creek Rest tapping their toes to the music.

Come see the Earthquakers July 28 for the 3rd concert in the four part “Rockin’ the Rose” series, at 7 p.m. on the grounds of the medical center at 160 Medical Center Road in Chicora. Bring your own chairs and blankets for first come, first choice lawn seating around our outdoor stage. Refreshments will be available at the tent provided by Chicora Medical Center’s Neighborhoods.
