Students at Freeport Area High School were recently
introduced to The Challenge Program, Inc. during a kick-off assembly at their
school. During the assembly, student volunteers participated in a mock
interview challenge to demonstrate how developing the right work habits and
behaviors will set them apart from other job seekers. Each interview question was
linked with one of The Challenge Program,
Inc.’s five award categories—Attendance, STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math), Community Service, Academic Improvement, and Academic
Excellence. Students will be eligible to compete for financial incentives in
these categories throughout the school year.
Our very own Fair Winds Manor is the
sponsor of the program at the school. Pictured here are 2013/14 winners of The Challenge
Program, Inc. awards and participating sponsors. Front, from left to right: Matt
